Line Kleinebreil is a primary care physician with a special interest in education. She graduated in medecine but also in mathematics, information technology and paedagogy. She has been active in the field of diabetes at European level with the « St Vincent Declaration » and several other European projects such as « Diabcare Quality Network » and « Diabcard ». In her position as DESG Chair she introduced the webcast of the annual DESG symposium and webinars in different languages to take advantage of technology for the dissemination of education material. Her research area of interest is eHealth and mobile health to improve diabetes and chronic diseases care; Currently she is consultant for the World Health Organization « Be He@lthy Be Mobile » program using mobile phones to fight chronic diseases in 8 countries. She is also vice president of the digital university « Universté numérique francophone mondiale, UNFM »who is running since 2009 the e-diabetes distant learning program in Subsaharian African countries.
